Live Classes and Events

Shadow Seekers

A monthly meditation class that focuses on intentional introspection.

When: The First Friday of every month.

Where: Online
Time: 6pm-8pm PST
Cost: $25 each class

Class Description:

Each month will feature a guided meditation that focuses on turning inward. There will be time to journal and share with the group. All experience levels are welcome. If you have questions on if this class is the right fit for you or if you want to sign-up, feel free to email me.

 

Events

Disability and Discovery Movement Workshop at Olympia Library (FREE)

When: Tuesday, August 26th from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM

Where: 313 8th Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501

This free workshop is a part of Das Biest Performance Project. Spend this time with V to discover what your body craves for comfort and calm. Warm-up stretches (that actually feel good!), movement exploration, journaling, and discussion will take place during the workshop. Fidgeting and stimming are welcome in this space! Although this workshop will be focused on disability and chronic illness, anyone is welcome to attend. No registration required, but space is limited.  It may be wise to arrive early!

What to bring: water, notebook, pen(cil), cozy clothes to move in, any comforts (fidgets, blanket, socks, etc.), yoga mat (optional), yoga blocks (optional), pillow (optional).

 

Accessibility in Performance Art at Tacoma Library (Moore Branch - FREE)

When: Tuesday, September 30th from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Where: 215 S 56th St, Tacoma, WA 98408

This free presentation is a part of Das Biest Performance Project. Join artistic director Sophie Marie and dancer V in this discussion-based workshop looking at how to create a more accessible performance art space. We will be discussing Das Biest’s unique rehearsal structure, with an audience participation element to allow for growth of our own work as well. This is a free event.

When: Wednesday, October 1st from 5pm-7:30pm

Cancellation Policy

 

​Please note, I ask for 48 hours notice with cancellations in order to receive a refund on services. You will be charged and refunds are not given to services cancelled within the 48 hour window of your appointment or session. This includes classes. If you need to cancel a session or service, it is best to do so before the 48 hour mark. I am happy to schedule a makeup session if you have paid for a service or class, but cannot attend.
